Cellulose Fiber made from Beechwood, recovered from Forest Thinning
The raw material used in Packnatur® cellulose tube netting is 100% beechwood, which is recovered from the thinning of FSC®– or PEFC-certified forests in central Europe. Beechwood forests are naturally occurring primary forests and are able to regenerate themselves, without the need for reforesting.

The netting is 100% home compostable, which means that under natural composting conditions it degrades completely in less than 12 weeks.
How do you compost it?
- Remove the metal clip.
- Add it to your home compost.
- Wait for nature to work its magic.
The Composting Process
