Upcycling workshop
at the FRida & freD children’s museum
The upcycling exhibition ‘CRAP?!’ is currently on display at the Graz children’s museum FRida & freD. Together with our designer Bettina Reichl, the children transformed leftovers from our net tube production into colourful, ‘compostable’ clothes on 17 July 2024 as part of the ‘Garbage becomes fashion’ workshop.
In the waste workshop and various small working groups, the children discover that almost any waste can still contain a valuable material. They learn to use supposed waste creatively and explore how to reuse things, avoid waste, or recycle correctly.
The exhibition is open until 23 February 2025. In the ‘workshops’ there are lots of tools available for the children and our net tubes and other materials can be recycled into new, fun and useful objects under expert guidance.
