VPZ Verpackungszentrum GmbH opens new factory in Neudau, Styria (Austria), to produce its beechwood based Packnatur® tube nettings, which not only creates new jobs but also opens up new perspectives in the textile industry.

Fruit and vegetables are in for a new look!
The Packnatur® Pick Pack reusable cellulose bag made from FSC®- certified beechwood is the latest fashion for fruit and vegetables, made from 100% wood – helping them stay fresh for longer.

Using compostable and recyclable packaging not only limits the drain on fossil fuels, such as crude oil, but also allows biodegradable substances to enter the supply chain. VPZ has managed to develop compostable tube netting for fruit and vegetables. So, what ́s the secret behind these innovative nets? LENZINGTM Modal cellulose fibres.

The new Packnatur® Pop-up Bag is the perfect choice when you suddenly have to nip into the shops. Made from beechwood, which is a 100% renewable raw material, the Pop-up Bag is free from petrochemicals and contains no metallic substances. What’s more, the bag is reusable, made from compostable material and is biodegradable – in other words, it ticks all the right boxes.

And difficult to please. So what happens when we’re far from happy with the labels available on the market? We simply decide to develop our own. Organic labels, naturally in line with what we believe a label should be.
